Asus Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip India Launch Soon; Could Be Launched as Asus 8Z

Asus Zenfone 8 (expected to be launched in India as Asus  8z) is one of the most anticipated phones of the year. Fans are waiting for the phone to launch in India. The hype of the Asus Zenfone 8 is much higher than the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip, it is because of the features it offers.

Asus Zenfone 8 offers features and specifications, that most phone users demand. Nothing more and nothing less, the phone is what one can call a perfect smartphone. For the specifications and the price point it comes in, Zenfone 8 is one of the highly awaited smartphones of the year.

Asus has confirmed the launch of its two flagship phones in India, i.e., Asus Zenfone 8 Flip and Asus Zenfone 8. The company has confirmed that the phones will be launched in India as Asus 8Z and 8Z Flip.

Many of you might be thinking why Asus isn’t launching the phone with the Zenfone name? Well, it is because Zen And ZenMobile trademarks are already owned in the Indian market by a different company.

The landing page of the Asus India website has specifications and the renders of the phone, which indicates towards Asus Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip launching in India soon. However, the site doesn’t reveal the name of the smartphones. Moreover, the launch date of the smartphones isn’t revealed as of now, but there is a ‘Notify Me’ button on the website to notify when the phone goes on sale.

Moreover, the Indian variant of the Zenfone 8 or the Asus 8Z has appeared in the Google Play Supported devices list. However, Zenfone 8 Flip doesn’t appear on the list as Asus 8Z flip.

Asus Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip were launched globally a few weeks back. Zenfone 8 was priced at EUR 599 (which estimates at Rs. 53,000 in India), whereas Zenfone 8 Flip was priced at EUR 799 (which roughly estimates to Rs. 71,000 in India. It is expected that both the smartphones will launch somewhere around the same price range and with the name Asus 8Z and Asus 8Z Flip.
