PUBG Mobile India Pvt. Ltd. Gets Approval From Government Of India

A piece of great news for PUBG lovers across the country, as the government of India, has approved the PUBG Mobile India game that will be handled by the company “PUBG India Private Limited.” It is although just a subsidiary of the PUBG Corporation/ Krafton. The company will be setting up its base in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, of the Government of India, approved the registration of PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. as a privately run company under the registrar of companies allowing it to run the game in India. This incorporation of the companies happened on the 21st of November 2020. The company’s authorized capital of the subsidiary is set at Rs. 15,00,000 with a paid-up amount of INR 5,00,000.

Last week, PUBG Mobile hinted its return to the Indian market is on the cards and sooner than later. There was also a list of upcoming changes leaked through online forums about the new game in the works. Moreover, it was also revealed that the user data and achievements of players on the global version will also be migrated to the upcoming new Indian version of the game.

The authorized director of the new company, PUBG India Pvt. Ltd. is Kumar Krishnan Iyer who is also known to be the director at ACCUWEATHER India Pvt. Ltd.

To make things sweeter, there are also reports that PUBG Mobile India plans to increase the market of esports in India through the game. The new version of the game is said to have a prize pool of Rs. 6 crores with a minimum salary for Tier 1 teams to range between Rs. 40,000 to Rs.2 Lakh.

It is still not clear as to when the game, PUBG Mobile India, will be available to play for the Indians but players can expect to get their hands on the game once again very soon. There is also no official confirmation regarding the stated prizes yet.
