PUBG Mobile is Coming Back to India: New Customized Version, Data Privacy and $100 Million Investment

A while back, after the Indian Government declared a ban, PUBG Corporation terminated all services and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite. PUBG Corporation has now announced that it is going to launch PUBG MOBILE INDIA, a new game made specifically for the Indian market.

According to the company, Several aspects of the game will be customised for the Indian version and the in-game content will be optimized and customised to represent local needs. The game will now be set in a training ground for virtual simulation and new characters will start dressing up automatically in the game. There will be restrictions on the time of the game this time around to encourage healthy gameplay habits for youngsters.

In addition, the company has announced that it will perform periodic audits and verifications of storage systems containing PUBG Mobile India users’ personally identifiable information. It also announced plans to build an Indian subsidiary to improve player communications and services, recruiting more than 100 employees specialising in business, esports, as well as game development.

In particular, PUBG Corporation plans to make investments in India worth US$ 100 million with its parent company KRAFTON, Inc of South Korea to develop the local video game, entertainment, esports, and IT industries.

There is no detail yet on the PUBG Mobile India release date.
