FAU-G comes after many delays and changes in launch dates. Despite the app being announced just 2 days after the Government of India’s decision to ban PUBG and 117 other apps. Despite it being over 2 and a half months since the announcement of the game, the game has finally come to the Google Play store raising the expectations and bringing back the anticipation surrounding the Indian-made battle royale game.

FAU-G stands for Fearless and United Guards is available for pre-registering. Interested players have to just search the app on the Google Play Store and then tap on the pre-register option. The game is developed by Bengaluru-based nCore Games. Also, popular Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has come in collaboration with the developers in the creation of the game. From the teaser itself, the game gave signs it plans to fight its way onto the player’s phones by pushing on the anti-China sentiment in the country.

The teaser of the game seems to emulate the Galwan Valley skirmishes between India and China along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Also, nCore Games has announced it will be donating 20% of all the revenue generated from the game to ‘Bharat Ke Veer’ trust set up by PM Narendra Modi for the families of soldiers who are killed in the line of duty.

However, the recent developments in PUBG’s bid to return to the country have received a huge boost after the Indian subsidiary of the PUBG Corporation received a green light from the Government of India making it easier to launch the game. Also, a completely different game to be called PUBG Mobile India with a separate server is likely to launch in India soon. The relaunch of PUBG might affect FAU-G and its prospective user base.
