It is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has inbuilt storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.
It features a 13-megapixel main autofocus camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Both the front and rear cameras come with flash support. Connectivity options include 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Though the smartphone lacks 4G connectivity.
The Canvas Nitro 3 packs a 2500 mAh battery which is expected to deliver talk time up to 9 hours and standby time up to 375 hours. It also has accelerometer, ambient light sensor and proximity sensor.
