Huawei FreeBuds 4 TWS Earbuds With 20-Hour Battery Life and Active Noise Cancellation Unveiled

Huawei FreeBuds 4 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds have been launched in China, after FreeBuds 3 which were released back in September 2019. The FreeBuds 4 has semi-open active noise cancellation, touch controls, and smart audio connections. Like its predecessor, they have a stem-style design.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 comes in three colors and is powered by the Kirin A1 processor from Huawei. When active noise reduction is turned off, they have a battery life of 4 hours, but this decreases when the feature is turned on. Huawei FreeBuds 4 Price and Availability

Huawei FreeBuds 4 will be available starting June 1 for CNY 999 (approximately Rs. 11,600). They are presently available for pre-order through Vmall in three colors: Ceramic White, Frost Silver, and Honey Red. There is currently no word on when FreeBuds 4 will be available in India.


Specifications and Features

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 use the same Huawei Kirin A1 microprocessor as the previous iteration of FreeBuds. The FreeBuds 4 use Bluetooth v5.2, which enables them to connect to two devices at once, and the pairing mode is activated by opening the charging case. The user can manually switch between connected devices with the help of a compatible app.

The 14.3mm moving coil drivers of the FreeBuds 4 have a frequency range of up to 40KHz. The FreeBuds 4 include dual-microphone semi-open active noise cancellation (ANC) that minimizes external low-frequency noise while also providing adequate airflow for a more pleasant listening experience.Huawei FreeBuds 4 Silver

The earbuds’ touch controls may be used to manage volume, play/pause music, answer/reject calls, activate voice assistant, and turn on/off active noise cancellation. For clear calls and improved audio recording, the FreeBuds 4 has three-microphone fusion call noise reduction. They also have a wear detecting sensor.

With ANC turned off, the TWS earbuds’ 30mAh batteries can last up to 4 hours. The battery life is reduced to 2.5 hours when it is turned on. A 410mAh battery powers the charging case, allowing for a total playtime of 20 hours with ANC turned off and 14 hours with ANC turned on.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 and the charging case, which also enables wireless charging, can be fully charged in one hour. The TWS earbuds are water-resistant to IPX4 standards and weigh 4.1 grams, while the case weighs 38 grams.
