Amazfit GTR 2e, Amazfit GTS 2e Launched In India

Huawei has launched two new smartwatches in its Amazfit series named Amazfit GTR 2e and Amazfir GTS 2e in India. The smartwatches were initially launched in China back in December of last year. Both the watches are already listed and have 90 Sports Modes along with 5ATM Water Resistance. Each watch has three color options as well.

Amazfit GTR 2e Specifications And Features

The Amazfit GTR 2e features a round dial with a 2.5D curved surface borderless design. The display is a 1.39-inch AMOLED display having a tempered glass with an anti-fingerprint coating over it. The display has a resolution of 454×454 pixels along with a pixel density of 326 PPI. The watch is made of aluminum alloy and has two buttons on the right side.

There are several sensors onboard the smartwatch including BioTracker 2 PPG with blood oxygen support, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, PAI Health Assessment System, sleep quality monitoring, and stress monitoring. The watch also has 90 built-in sports modes with smart recognition to automatically select the activity being carried out by the user.

The watch also can be used to obtain offline voice assistance and incoming call notifications. The sensors onboard the wearable include an acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, 3-axis geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, and temperature sensor.

For connectivity, the watch makes use of Bluetooth 5.0 and makes use of the Zepp app to pair with the smartphone of the user on Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above.

The smartwatch runs on a 471mAh battery that the company claims to last for 24 days with typical use, 45 days with basic use, and 12 days with heavy use. The watch weighs 32 grams and is 5ATM water-resistant.

The display has a 348×442 pixels resolution along with a pixel density of 341 PPI. The build of the watch is of aluminum alloy construction with a single button on the right side.

In terms of health-related sensors, the watch has BioTracker 2 PPG with blood oxygen saturation, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, PAI Health Assessment System, sleep quality monitoring, and stress monitoring. Just like the GTR variant, this watch too has 90 built-in sports modes with smart recognition.

Coming to other sensors, the watch also has an acceleration sensor, gyroscope sensor, geomagnetic sensor, ambient light sensor, air pressure sensor, and temperature sensor. The watch makes use of Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. Users can also obtain incoming call notifications and also make use of the offline voice assistance.

The wearable however houses a smaller 246mAh battery which the company claims can last for 14 days with typical use, 24 days with basic use and 7 days with heavy use. The watch also has a 5ATM water resistance and weighs just 25 grams.

The Amazfit GTR 2e, as well as Amazfit GTS 2e, has been priced in India for Rs. 9,999 each. However, the Amazfit GTR 2e comes in Matcha Green, Obsidian Black, and Slate Grey colors while the Amazfit GTS 2e comes in Lilac Purple, Moss Green, and Obsidian Black colors.
