Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G Launched: What’s New And All You Need To Know

Huawei has also launched the Huawei Mate 30E Pro as an upgrade to the Mate 30 Pro launched last year. The phone was launched alongside the Huawei Mate 40 series smartphones. The phone makes use of the Kirin 990E 5G chipset as compared to the Kirin 990 present on the previous version of the phone. The company hasn’t revealed the pricing of the phone yet.

Huawei Mate 30E Pro Specifications And Features

The Huawei Mate 30E Pro features a 6.53-inch Full-HD+ (1,176×2,400 pixels) OLED display. The display also has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a screen to body ratio of 94.1%, and a pixel density of 409 PPI. The phone is powered by the company’s Kirin 990E 5G Octa-Core chipset and Mali-G76 MP14 GPU coupled with 8 GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 256 GB. The phone runs on Android 10 out of the box with EMUI 11 on top of it.

Coming to cameras, the phone has a Quad camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 40-Megapixel sensor having an aperture of f/1.6. The Ultrawide camera is also a 40-Megapixel lens with an aperture of f/1.8. Then there’s an 8-Megapixel Telephoto camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and finally a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor for depth sensing.

On the front, the phone has a 32-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 for taking selfies. The phone also has a 3D depth sensor for face detection. The phone has an iPhone styled thick central notch.

For connectivity, the phone has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The device also has a microSD card to expand the storage to up to 256 GB. The phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light, barometer, color temperature, gyroscope, hall sensor, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor.

The phone houses a huge 4,500mAh Li-Po battery with Fast Charging support as well. The phone supports up to 40W Wired Fast Charging and 27W Wireless Fast Charging. The phone also supports reverse wireless charging as well. The phone measures 158.1 x 73.1 x 8.8 mm and weighs 198 grams.

Huawei Mate 30E Pro Pricing And Availability

Huawei hasn’t revealed the pricing of the phone yet but it is available for pre-booking right now in China. The phone will be available in Space Silver, Emerald Green, Cosmic Purple, and Black color options. Apart from this, the phone also comes in Vegan Leather Forest Green and Vegan Leather Orange color finish.
