Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro TWS Earbuds Launched: Price, Specifications & More

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro TWS Earbuds for the Chinese markets. The earbuds come with a design very similar to that of Apple AirPods Pro. These earbuds also come with active noise cancellation (ANC) along with a dual transparency mode that lets users listen to the surrounding environment while listening to music. The earbuds are claimed to deliver up to 28 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro Specifications And Features

Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro features a traditional in-ear design. The design of the earbuds is very similar to that of the Apple AirPods Pro. The earbuds come with an ergonomic fit and provide three sizes of earplugs. The company also claims the earbuds have been designed after conducting over 5,000 tests and 10,000 user research studies.

The earphones come with 11mm super dynamic drivers. They are claimed to have an impedance of 16 ohms and provide an immersive sound experience. For further noise cancellation, it features three microphones. It also has Qualcomm’s QCC5151 chip that helps the earphones deliver a clear audio input through the inbuilt microphones.

The Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro also comes with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) capability. The earphones are claimed to provide an independent noise reduction chip that is capable of bringing a maximum of 40dB deep noise reduction. This can block and restrict up to 99 percent of background noise.

There are three modes provided in noise cancellation as well. It includes: Daily mode, Office mode, and Air Travel mode. Using the Daily Mode, the earphones are said to block basic outdoor noise, such as carriage noise and human conversations. In the Office Mode, the ANC can block light noise such as computer operations and air-conditioning motors. While in Air Travel Mode, the earbuds can block large loudness and low-frequency audio of an aircraft while maintaining the balance of ear pressure.

The Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro has a dual device smart connection feature which allows users to connect the earphones to two devices simultaneously. This feature is very useful when a call comes on the phone while listening to music on the laptop. This feature helps the users to switch between the two seamlessly without even disconnecting the earbuds or remove them from the ears.

For connectivity, the Xiaomi Flipbuds Pro makes use of Bluetooth v5.2 along with Bluetooth Low Energy, HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and SPP. The earphone also supports Qualcomm AptX Adaptive dynamic codec protocol. For gamers, the earphones also have a low latency mode.

The body of the earbuds also comes with controls using which users can manage the earbuds. Users can control the music with the touch gestures on the back of the earbuds. On long pressing the earbud, users can enable or disable the Active Noise Cancellation feature on the earphones.

Now coming to the battery, Xiaomi claims the earbuds can last for up to a total of 28 hours on a single charge when ANC is turned OFF. With ANC ON, the earphones are claimed to deliver up to 22 hours of battery life with the case. The earbud alone can last for up to 7 hours on a single full charge. The case can be charged using a USB Type-C port. It also offers Fast Charging using which the earphones can be charged to obtain 5 hours worth of music playback in just 5 minutes of charging. The case also supports Qi wireless charging.


Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro Pricing And Availability In India

The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro has been launched in the Chinese markets at CNY 799 (approx Rs. 9,100). The earphones will be available in Xiaomi’s home country, China from May 21. There is no information regarding the international pricing and availability of the product yet.
