PUBG Mobile India To Launch Soon And Will Carry Achievements And Progress From Global Version

A few days back, PUBG announced it will be returning to the Indian market with the PUBG Mobile India version of the hit multiplayer game. The game was banned in India back in September but there were speculations that the game will make its return to the Indian market by the end of the year. Putting all those speculations to rest, last week the company announced the game will mark its return to the Indian market with a new game altogether and be called PUBG Mobile India.

Earlier it was believed since it’s a new game altogether, the achievements, ID, skins, and all other progress won’t be carried from the previous version of the game to the new upcoming one. But recent developments suggest that the complete progress from the previous game will be carried forward to the new one as well.

PUBG Mobile India Return

This means gamers who had previously already devoted a lot to the game won’t have to restart from square one. Not just the progress and achievements but also the ID can be migrated from the older version of the game to PUBG Mobile India.

The new game will be bringing a few changes from the previous versions of the game. Notable changes include instead of bleeding characters will be seen having green hit marks. Also, the characters will be clothed from the start itself as against earlier. The game is also set to have a feature to restrict players from long playing sessions.

Other changes on the technical front that reportedly made the path for the return of the game easier include its partnership with Microsoft for the use of its Azure servers to store PUBG Mobile India’s user data locally in India itself.

There is still no official timeline regarding the launch of the new game yet.
