Initially, available on flagship smartphones, the 5G network technology is now making its way to budget-oriented and midrange smartphones. Recently, Motorola has announced its new 5G offering that goes by the name Motorola One 5G. In reality, the newly launched smartphone is the US variant of the Moto G 5G Plus that was launched almost a month ago. So here’s everything you need to know about the Motorola One 5G.

Launched in Oxford Blue color variant, the Motorola One 5G will retail for a price of $500 which roughly translates into Rs. 36,660. There’s only one 4GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant of this smartphone.

The mid-range smartphone from Motorola features a complete plastic construction that can easily withstand rough usage. For protection against accidental splashes, the smartphone comes with water-repellent coating. There’s a massive 6.7-inch CinemaVision Full HD+ display on this device with a resolution of 1080 × 2520 pixels. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the display on this smartphone.
Some other noteworthy features of the display are the 21:9 aspect ratio, HDR10, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Surprisingly, there’s a dual punch-hole selfie camera setup on this device that consists of a 16MP primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology and an 8MP ultra-wide.
The tried and trusted Snapdragon 765 processor with Snapdragon X52 5G modem power this mid-rage smartphone. This octa-core SoC consists of 1 x 2.4GHz + 1 x 2.2GHz + 6 x 1.8GHz Kryo 475 CPUs. Furthermore, there’s an Adreno 620 GPU on this device. As mentioned earlier the smartphone comes with 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage which can be further expanded to up to 1TB.
The quad-camera setup on this smartphone consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Additionally, there’s an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 118-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, the other two sensors are a 5-megapixel Macro Camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture. As for security, Motorola has offered a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. A massive 5000mAh battery backs up this device, and it supports 20W TurboPower fast charging.
