Moto G9 Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features

On Monday, Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola launched its new smartphone, ‘Moto G9’ in India. The smartphone is part of the ‘Moto G-series’. It is the successor of Moto G8 but it was not released in India.

The key specifications of the smartphone include a HD+ display, Triple Rear Cameras, 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 662 SoC and 5000mAh Battery.

The main highlights of both smartphones are 5000mAh battery and 20W fast charging.

Moto G9: Price in India, Sale Date

• Moto G9 price in India is Rs. 11,499 for the sole 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant.
• It will come in Forest Green and Sapphire Blue colour options.
• The smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting August 31.

Moto G9: Specifications and Features

Now coming to the specifications, Moto G9 sports a 6.5-inch Display with 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio and HD+ (720×1600 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 10 on the top of stock Android, the phone runs on 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor with Adreno 610 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM option. The smartphone has the support of Hybrid Dual-SIM (nano+nano/microSD).

In optics, there is a triple rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 48MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture, the second camera includes a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and the third camera includes a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has LED flash on the back.

When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via microSD. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC GPS+GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C port. The sensors onboard the handset are an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and rear-facing fingerprint sensor.

Moto G9 battery capacity is 5000mAh with support of 20W Turbopower fast charging. The handset measures 75.73×165.21×9.18mm and weighs 200 grams.
