Huawei Watch Fit Smartwatch With 96 Workout Modes And 10-Day Battery Life Launched: Price, Specifications And More

Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch- The Huawei Watch Fit. The smartwatch has an unconventional rectangular design as against circular design in their previous smartwatches like Huawei Watch GT. The watch has a 24-Hour heart rate monitoring along with GPS. It is also set to have 96 different workout modes and a battery life of 10 days on a single charge.

Huawei Watch Fit Specifications And Features

The Huawei Watch Fit features a 1.64-inch AMOLED display having a 280×456 pixel resolution. The face of the watch is protected by a 2.5D curved glass protection. The watch has a pixel density of 326 PPI. The screen to body ratio of the smartwatch is 70 percent. It also has support for slide and touch gesture.

The smartwatch has 4GB of storage space in the device. The watch has a 24-hour optical heart rate monitoring sensor. Other sensors onboard include a six-axis IMU sensor which also has an accelerometer and gyroscope.

The watch can be used to get notifications from various apps. It can also be used for getting alerts for incoming calls, SMS messages, and calendar apps. Users can also control music playback on the phone using the watch. It already has several applications such as alarm, timer, weather, stopwatch, and many more.

Coming to watch faces, the Huawei Watch Fit comes with 6 preloaded Always On watch faces. But the Chinese manufacturer has also said users can download more watch faces from third-party developers from the Watch Face Store.

Fitness features on the watch include 96 workout modes including 11 professional sport modes as well as 85 custom workout modes. To encourage users to stay fit, the watch has 12 animated workouts which include exercises such as Full-Body Stretch, Exercise at Work, Ab ripper to just name a few. Also, it has other 44 standard demonstrations of movements.

To completely exploit the fitness features the Huawei Watch Fit App can be used wherein all the data is automatically exported after pairing. Just like various fitness apps from top manufacturers, Huawei’s app creates graphical and colorful demonstrations of various daily activities such as Heart Rate, steps, activity hours, etc.

Other interesting features on the watch include Huawei TruSeen 4.0 heart rate monitoring technology for a very accurate real-time heart rate monitoring. The watch also has Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) levels, monitoring capability as well. And to track sleep, the smartwatch includes the Huawei TruSleep 2.0 sleep tracking technology which is said to have a real-time, high accuracy analysis of the user’s sleep.

Huawei has claimed the watch comes with a 5 ATM water resistance. The battery on the watch can last for about 10 days of normal usage on one full charge. When used in the GPS mode the watch can run for about 12 hours. The watch is compatible to work on devices on at least iOS 9.0 or Android 5.0. The smartwatch measures 46x30x10.7mm and it weighs 21 grams without the strap.

Huawei Watch Fit Pricing And Availability

The Huawei Watch Fit has been priced at AED 399 (approx Rs. 7,900). The watch has been launched but will be available only in UAE starting from September 3. There is no information regarding the global launch of the watch yet.

The watch cases come in three colors- Black, Silver, and Rose Gold. While the watch also has four different silicone strap finishes including- Graphite Black, Mint Green, Cantaloupe Orange, and Sakura Pink.
