Samsung Galaxy Buds Live and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 have been finally launched by Samsung in India. Samsung has also revealed the pricing of the two accessories. Both the products were launched along with the Samsung Note 20 series in the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Specifications And Features
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 runs on Wearable OS 5.5 which is a Tizen-based Operating System. The watch features a 1.2-inch (360×360 pixels) circular Super AMOLED display on the 41mm variant while a 1.4-inch display on the 45mm variant. The resolution on both the size variants is exactly the same.
The watch runs on the dual-core Exynos 9110 CPU and has the Mali-T720 GPU. The smartwatch also comes with 1GB of RAM along with 8GB of storage. Samsung has also provided IP68 water and dust resistance for the smartwatch.
In terms of connectivity, the watch has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 5.0 in the Wi-Fi variant while the LTE models come with eSIM support enabling 4G connectivity in the watch. The watch also comes with GPS in place.
Coming to the battery, the smartwatch has a 247mAh battery on the 41mm variant while a 340mAh battery on the 45mm size variant.
Apart from the standard Heart Rate Measuring, the watch also has Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) sensor. There are several health-related features that aren’t clear if will be available in India or not yet.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Specifications And Features
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live are a bean-shaped truly wireless earphones from Samsung. It features a 12mm dynamic driver along with AKG Tuning. The earbuds also offer Noise Cancellation apart from allowing ambient listening.
For connectivity, the earphones primarily make use of Bluetooth 5.0. But there is also support for the SBC, AAC, and Scalable Bluetooth codecs.
Samsung claims the earphones provide a great calling experience thanks to the triple microphones in the earphones. The earphones also are IPX2 rated for water resistance. They also have support for Samsung’s Bixby assistant.
In terms of battery, the earbuds pack a 60mAh battery each while the charging case has a 472mAh battery. The earbuds along with the case are claimed to offer 29 hours of playback time. The earphones individually have about 8 hours of battery life. The case has a USB Type-C charging port. It also supports Qi wireless charging.
The functionality of the earphones can be explored further and customized using the Samsung Galaxy Buds app. Using the app, users can customize Noise Cancellation, enable ambient sound, adjust the equalizer, customize touch controls, etc.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 And Samsung Galaxy Buds Live Pricing in India And Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Live is priced in India at Rs. 14,990. The earbuds have three color options- Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, and Mystic White. The earphones go on sale in India for the first time starting August 25.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 comes in various variants. The smartwatch has two color options- The Mystic Bronze and Mystic Silver.
The 41mm variant with Wi-Fi will be sold in India at Rs. 29,990. While the LTE model supporting 4G eSIM is priced at Rs. 34,490. Coming to the 45mm variants, the Wi-Fi only variant will be available for Rs. 32,990 while the LTE model, the most expensive watch from the South Korean company, has been priced at Rs. 38,990. All the variants of the Watch 3 will go on sale in India from August 27.
Samsung has also announced both these devices will be sold at Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com, and leading e-retailers in the country.
