Amazon Prime Day 2020 is here. The e-commerce giant’s biggest sale of the year brings a ton of offers and discounts along with flash sales on a wide range of products. The Prime Day kicks off on 6th August and will be till 7th August 2020. Many offers will be revealed on the days of the sale itself, but Amazon has given a sneak peek of all the top deals especially on Mobile phones already. Do make sure you have Amazon Prime subscription as the sale is exclusively for Amazon Prime members.
Top Mobile Phone Deals:
Apple iPhone 11
The Apple iPhone 11 is the recipient of probably the biggest Prime Day deals, as the phone launched last year priced at Rs. 68,300 will be available for just Rs. 59,999 during the sale, a discount of almost Rs. 8,000. The A13 Bionic powered mobile from Apple has been very popular ever since its release. If you haven’t bought it yet, here’s the time for you to get yours.
Samsung Galaxy S10
The last year’s flagship from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is available currently on Amazon for Rs. 49,990 but during prime day sale, the phone gets a discount of Rs. 5,000 and so will be available for Rs. 44,999.
OnePlus 7T
Amazon is the exclusive online retailer of OnePlus in India and it not having any discounts on Prime Day sale is just not possible. The OnePlus 7T launched last year and available in India currently for Rs. 37,999 will be sold for Rs. 35,999 and an additional Rs. 2,000 discount (Rs. 33,999) if exchanged with any old device.
OnePlus 7T Pro
Last year’s flagship from OnePlus, the OnePlus 7T Pro is currently sold at Rs. 47,999 and during the Prime Day sale, you can get it for just Rs. 43,999 (a discount of Rs. 4,000) with an additional Rs. 2,000 discount (Rs. 33,999) if exchanged with any old device.
Redmi K20 Pro
The flagship killer from last year, Redmi K20 Pro which is already available at a great price of just Rs. 24,500 gets an additional price drop of Rs. 1,500 making it available for just Rs. 22,999 during the sale.
Vivo V17
In mid-range smartphones, Vivo’s very popular V17’s price has also been slashed from Rs. 24,990 currently to 21,990 during the sale with a discount of Rs. 3,000 for Amazon Prime members during Prime Day sale.
Samsung Galaxy M31
Samsung’s low range king, Samsung Galaxy M31 also gets an Rs. 1,200 discount as the phone will now be available for Rs. 16,500 as against the Rs. 17,699 earlier.
Honor 9A
The Huawei sub brand’s device, Honor 9A will be sold via a flash sale on 6th August 11 AM. The phone also receives an Rs. 3,000 discount to its Rs. 11,999 price and will be sold for just Rs. 8,999 during the flash sale.
Oppo A5 (2020)
This lower range device already a great deal for Rs. 11,990 will be sold for Rs. 10,990, a discount of Rs. 1,000 during Prime Day sale.

Several phones will be also available in Flash sales during Prime Day 2020. Below is the list of all the phones with the date and time of their Flash Sales.
- 10 AM – Redmi 9 Prime starting Rs. 9,999.
- 11 AM – Honor 9A for Rs. 8,999.
- 12 PM – Redmi Note 9 Pro starting at Rs. 13,999.

‘Wow Deals’ On 6th and 7th August
Amazon will also be giving great discounts on branded products as part of its Wow Deals starting at specific times for certain products during the Prime Day sale.
6th August
The deals on 6th August starting 6 PM include – OnePlus Smart LED TVs in 32-inch and 43-inch inch size variants, Godrej 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split AC, and Lifelong 50 and 92 L single door refrigerator to receive an unannounced special discount.
7th August
The deals on 7th August from 6 PM include – boAt Rockerz 261 wireless headphones along with special limited-time discounts on AmazonBasic’s wide range of Umbrellas and Comforters.
Inaugural Sales
There are various smartphones and other devices to have inaugural sales during Prime Day. The smartphones to go on sale for the first time include – Samsung Galaxy M31s, Redmi 9 Prime, OnePlus Nord, Redmi Note 9 Scarlet Red, Honor 9A, Oppo A51, and Tecno Spark 6 Air.
Apart from these mobile phones, the Noise Colorfit Nav smartwatch also has its first sale during Prime Day.
Other Notable Discounts
There are discounts on several products across many departments, but here are the interesting products with a big discount. Many Amazon specials or company manufactured products have special discounts. There’s a 60% discount on Echo Plus Smart color bulb bundle. Fire TV Stick range will also have a 40 percent discount. On the Echo Smart Displays there’s up to Rs. 8,000 off with a flat 50% discount on Echo Plus. Also, Kindle E-Readers has up to Rs. 4,000 off on several variants.
Payment Offers
Amazon has tied up with HDFC Bank for the Prime Day sale and so will be providing a 10 percent discount on Credit/ Debit cards and also EMI transactions. The minimum amount on which this discount is applicable is Rs. 3,000. Also, the maximum instant discount that can be availed is Rs. 1,750.
On various mobile phones, Amazon is providing no-cost EMI option for 9 or 12 months.
Prime Video and Music
Amazon has released a few exclusive Bollywood movies along with popular Hollywood movies on the streaming platform as part of the Prime Day 2020.
Notable Bollywood releases include Shakuntala Devi featuring Vidya Balan and Amazon Original series Banish Bandit. Apart from Hindi content, Amazon Prime has also added Kannada title French Biriyani in various languages.
Hollywood releases include Will Smith starring Gemini Man and Warner Bros’s Margot Robbie starring Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey.
On Amazon Prime Music, there are several playlists specially curated from popular actors and musicians from India and around the world.
