There have been extensive discussions upon deciding the date for the launch of the latest set of smartphones but now the August 5 date seems to be the most appropriate and likely. Due to the Covid-19, the launch will have to be in an Unpacked Event. Earlier the company had hinted that the launch of the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2 would be in the second half of the year.
According to reports, The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is to be launched in three models – Samsung Galaxy Note 20, Samsung Galaxy Note 20+, and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. As per the leaks, the series may feature up to 108-megapixel main camera, and an Infinity-O display with a single centrally located front camera. However, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 version may come with a 64-megapixel primary camera. The camera setup is set to also include a 12-megapixel telephoto camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a laser autofocus sensor as well. The phone is tipped to be 7mm thick as compared to 8.8mm thickness of Samsung S20 Ultra. Although, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 won’t be having a 100x space zoom like the one in the S20 series. The phone is likely to be powered by a 4,370 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 just like the previous version, will be having the book-like open shut design. However, the phone is likely to have a 4.6-inch outer display. The foldable screen is set to be a 7.7-inch display bigger than the 7.3-inch in the predecessor. The enormous display is also to be given S Pen support. The Foldable display will be an Infinity-O display with a hole-punch display. The Galaxy Fold-2 will be launched with a 256GB variant in order to keep the starting price lower than the Rs. 1,64,999 of the 1st Generation Fold device having the only 512 GB variant.
The 5G Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is also to launch later this year and it can be showcased in Event.
