Asus ZenFone 7 Might Come With 16GB RAM and Snapdragon 865 SoC: GeekBench Report

Asus Zenfone 6 or often referred to as Asus 6Z was a feature-packed mid-range smartphone that packed flagship internals. One of the major highlights of this mid-range device was the motorized flip-up camera module that helped Asus achieve an impressive 83.8% screen-to-body ratio. Thanks to a tipster Abhishek Yadav, we now have some information about the successor to Asus Zenfone 6 i.e. the Asus Zenfone 7.

So here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Asus Zenfone 7.

Asus ZenFone 7 Spotted On Geekbench Listing

According to the Geekbench listing, Asus Zenfone 7 is expected to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC. The codename of the processor powering this device is ‘kona’ and it is worth noting that ‘kona’ refers to the Snapdragon 865 SoC. In addition to the processor, the listing also reveals that this smartphone codenamed as ‘asus ZF’ will have a higher-end variant with 16GB of RAM.

Additionally, the Asus Zenfone 7 will run on Android 10 out of the box. The details about this smartphone were uploaded on Geekbench on 18th June 2020 at 6:04 AM.

As far as scores are concerned, this upcoming Asus smartphone had a single-core score of around 973 and a multi-core score of about 3346. As of now, not much information is available about the display, camera setup, and battery life of this smartphone. Apart from Asus Zenfone 7, Asus could also name this device as ZenFone 7Z.

Some trustworthy sources also suggest that the above-mentioned device can be the Asus ROG Phone 3.

It is worth noting that, Asus 6Z was launched in India in 2019 June. Consequently, we can expect the Zenfone 7 to launch in India in July of 2020. The pricing of this smartphone can be in Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 price bracket.
