Author’s Opinion

The Moto G7 Power is yet another disappointment from the company. Moto G6 series was a huge failure last year and looks like Motorola has not learnt anything. As of now, G7 Power is launched in India which was supposed to be cheapest among the other G7 series smartphone. The smartphone is too overpriced for what it is offering on-paper.

Talking about the competition in this price range of around 14K, the real competitors of this smartphone are Redmi Note 6 Pro (4GB), Honor 10 Lite (4GB)Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (6GB), Honor 8X (4GB), Huawei Y9 (2019)Mi A2, Realme 2 Pro (4GB) and Samsung Galaxy M20 (4GB). So, the competition in this price range is very high.

If compared with the competition, the smartphone is offering just 5,000 mAh battery which is also offered by Galaxy M20 and Zenfone Max Pro M2. There is only HD+ (720p) display, lower-end Snapdragon 632 processor, no gyroscope sensor and 193g heavy-weight.

Overall, We don’t Moto G7 Power to buy in this price range. However, at the time of writing this article, our first recommendation will be Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 (Flash Review).
