Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, ZenFone Max M2 Launched in India

On Tuesday, Asus launched two new smartphones, ‘Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Asus Zenfone Max M2’ in India. Both smartphones are the successor of popular Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Asus Zenfone Max M1.

The similarities between both new smartphones are bezel-less notch displays, dual rear cameras and massive battery capacity.

The difference between both new smartphones is the processor — the Zenfone Max Pro M2 is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and Zenfone Max M2 is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC.

• Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 price in India starts at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant, Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2:

Now coming to the specifications, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 sports a 6.26-inch Notch Display with 19:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) resolution. It has calculated 81.64 percent screen-to-body ratio along with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Based on Android 8.1 Oreo on the top of Stock Android, the phone runs on the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM options. The smartphone has the support of dual-SIM (nano+nano+microSD).

In optics, there is a dual rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the second camera includes a 5MP depth sensor. The phone supports EIS. On the front, there is a 13MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone has LED flash on the back as well as on the front.

When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 32GB/64GB of internal storage and it is expandable upto 2TB with microSD.
