Soon after the launch, OnePlus has rolled out an update for the OnePlus Watch. OnePlus Watch was launched alongside the OnePlus 9 series in March, and it went on sale on April 21 in India. The watch comes in two color variants in India- Moonlight Silver and Midnight Black. There is another variant of the watch known as Cobalt limited edition. However, it is not available as of now, and there is no information about its pricing as well. The always-on display was a much-awaited feature for the users that the company did promise to deliver. This feature is now available with the B.48 incremental update that the company rolled out for OnePlus Watch users. After installing this latest update for the OnePlus Watch, users were able to control the camera of their mobiles with the help of their watch. This allowed them to click beautiful shots and selfies using their phone.

The update also brought always-on display functionality. The company promised that the smartwatch will be able to track more than 110 workout modes, but this doesn’t seem to be real as of now. The company is adding workout modes, but the number is not yet close to what the company said. A new marathon workout mode was also added with this update.

This update brought some improvements to the UI, and bugs have been fixed. Overall system stability has also been improved after this latest update for the OnePlus watch. However, the always-on display feature does affect the battery life. It will consume more power and will decrease the battery life by half. OnePlus rolled out the B.40 update which improved the accuracy of activity tracking, GPS performance, and raise-to-wake function.

Before updating to the latest update, it is recommended to have the battery of the Watch over 40%.
