OnePlus Watch Finally Unveiled: All You Need To Know

OnePlus has finally expanded its product line to also include smartwatches with the launch of the OnePlus Watch. The premium everyday wear from the company is launched packed with tons of features. The watch comes with up to 14 days of battery life, 4 GB of storage, a Blood oxygen saturation monitor, an IP68 rating, and a lot more. The watch also has over 110 different workout types.

OnePlus Watch Specifications And Features

The OnePlus Watch features a 1.39-inch FullHD+ (454×454 pixels) AMOLED display having a pixel density of 326 PPI. The watch also has 2.5D curved glass protection. OnePlus also claims it provides a ‘seamless connection’ and support to allow user’s receive voice calls and app notifications directly on their watches.

The watch is also said to allow users to configure their OnePlus smartwatch’s settings and also be used as a remote for the OnePlus TV. The company also showed that it automatically detects the user is asleep and within 30 minutes of it automatically shuts down the TV and even reduces the volume of the TV when a call comes on the connected smartphone.

OnePlus Watch Fitness

In terms of sensors on the watch, there is an Acceleration sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Optical heart rate, blood oxygen sensor, Ambient light sensor, Air pressure sensor, and Capacitance sensor. Users can also monitor all the information from these sensors using the OnePlus Health app.

The watch has over 110 workout modes and can also automatically detect workouts such as jogging and running using inbuilt sensors. The watch also has an IP68-certified build that comes along with 5ATM water resistance allowing the users to wear it while swimming as well. For connectivity, the phone makes use of Bluetooth and standalone GPS support on the OnePlus Watch.

OnePlus Watch Water

The OnePlus Watch houses a 402mAh battery that is claimed to provide up to 14 days of battery backup on normal usage, 5 days with sleep blood oxygen monitoring, and up to 25 hours of continuous exercise with GPS. The watch also uses Warp Charging which helps to get a week’s battery requirement of charging in just 20 minutes of charge.

In terms of dimensions, the watch measures 46.4×46.4mm×10.9mm without the straps. The watch without the strap weighs 45 grams while with the strap it weighs 76 grams and the Cobalt Limited Edition watch measures 67 grams with the strap.


OnePlus Watch Pricing And Availability In India

The OnePlus Watch has been priced in India for Rs. 16,999 with an early bird discounted price of Rs. 14,999 for the time being. It is so far listed on the official OnePlus India website as coming soon. The watch will be available in Midnight Black and Moonlight Silver color options. There is also the Cobalt Limited Edition watch, but the availability and pricing of the watch are unknown as of now.
