Gionee F8 Neo Budget Smartphone Launched In India: Price, Specifications And More

Gionee has marked its return in the Indian market with the launch of the Gionee F8 Neo budget smartphone in India. The phone is set to be a smartphone option for the users currently using Feature Phones. The phone does not come with a fingerprint reader but does have face unlock, 4G, and several other features.

Gionee F8 Neo Specifications And Features

The Gionee F8 Neo features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1,440 pixels) IPS LCD display. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 298 PPI. The screen is a Capacitive Touchscreen and supports Multi-touch as well.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core 1.6 GHz Unisoc (formerly known as Spreadtrum) SC9863 SoC. The phone runs on 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage which can be expanded to up to 256 GB using a MicroSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the phone has a single camera on the back. The camera is an 8-Megapixel sensor along with Digital Zoom and LED flash. On the front, the phone has a 5-Megapixel sensor with an LED flash on the front as well for selfies video calls.

For connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone houses a 3,000mAh battery but it does not support Fast Charging. The device also has a Gem Edge Design which is claimed to provide a completely distinct look and feel in hand.

The Gionee F8 Neo has been priced in India for Rs. 5,499 for its solitary 2GB RAM + 32GB storage option. The phone has been launched in three color options- Black, Blue, and Red. The phone will be available at several retail stores in India.
