Reliance Jio SIM is Now Officially Available for 16 Smartphone Brands; Here’s how to get it

Prisma, Pokémon Go created a lot of buzz over the internet but not as much as Reliance Jio is creating. After Samsung, LG, Asus, Panasonic, Micromax, Yu, Gionee, Karbonn, Lava and Xolo, Reliance Jio telecom tied up with Sony, Videocon and Sansui to offer its Jio 4G Preview offer on all their 4G-enabled smartphones. Our earlier report said that “the Jio Preview offer is now available for all 4g-enabled smartphones”.

With the addition of these smartphone brands, the Jio Preview offer is now officially available with 4G smartphones of 16 smartphone brands. All 4G LTE-enabled Sony, Videocon and Sansui phone users are now eligible to get a free Jio SIM and avail free unlimited access to internet, calls, sms and Jio premium services for 90 days.

Users can avail of the Jio Preview Offer at all Reliance Digital stores (including Digital Xpress and Digital Xpress Mini) and other select smartphone retail stores across the country.

Under the Preview offer, consumers who purchase an eligible 4G smartphone will get a free Reliance Jio 4G SIM and complimentary access to unlimited HD voice, video calling, unlimited SMS, unlimited high-speed data services, and access to Jio Apps. Existing users can meanwhile get their free Jio SIM by generating relevant Preview code on their phones using the My Jio app.

How to Get Jio SIM:

  1. Download and Install MyJio App from Play Store
  2. Tap on Get Jio SIM on the Banner
  3. Tap on Agree & Get Jio offer
  4. Select your location from the drop down menu
  5. Read information and click on Next
  6. Offer Code (a barcode) can be seen, Print out offer code or take screenshot
  7. Now with offer code print out, take 2 passport size photos, ID and address proof photocopy
  8. Now, Go to any nearby Reliance Digital Store or DX Mini Store and collect your Free Jio SIM after submitting the identity, address proof and your photograph.

Congratulation, you just got your Jio Sim. But you need to activate it to avail Preview offer benefits. to activate see below steps:

How to Activate Jio SIM:

  1. One you got the SIM, just insert that Jio SIM in your smartphone.
  2. Wait For 1-2 Days (or may be less), to appear the network lines.
  3. After the networks comes, then you need to dial 1977 to activate your Jio SIM through tele-verification.
  4. You will receive message on your mobile number and your email-id once the activation is complete.
  5. That’s it, Enjoy 4G like never before.

Congratulations, You just activated the Jio Preview offer on your smartphone.

Reliance will be doing a commercial launch in coming weeks. Initially Jio launched for employees and later extended to family and friends, partners, and vendors, the Jio Preview offer has been gradually extended to other partner OEMs. Additionally, the Preview offer is also available with JioFi which is a Wi-Fi hotspot device recently launched by Reliance Digital.
