Lava Pulse Feature Phone With Built-in Heart Rate & BP Monitor Launched In India

Lava has launched its latest feature phone called Lava Pulse. The standout feature in the device is that features a built-in heart rate and blood pressure monitor. It is one of the only devices in this segment offering such features. The user has to just put the finger on the back over the sensor for a few seconds to measure their heart rate and blood pressure. Lava also claims the battery in place can last for about 6 days.

Lava Pulse Specifications and Features

The Lava Pulse features a 2.4-inch (240×320 pixels) QVGA display. The device has 32MB RAM and expandable internal storage of up to 32GB. It can also save about 100 messages and up to 500 contacts in the phone.Lava Pulse

The phone comes with a 1,800mAh battery which the company claims can last for about 6 days on normal usage. The phone has a Micro USB slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and wireless FM radio for connectivity. The users can type in 6 Indian Languages apart from English which include Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Gujarati, and Punjabi. Lava Pulse also has a call recording functionality.

 

The most interesting feature of the device has to be the heart rate and blood pressure monitor. The phone has a sensor on the back to measure heart rate and blood pressure. The user has to place his/ her finger on the sensor for about 30 seconds to obtain the results. The stats are displayed on the screen and can be saved to be viewed later.

Lava Pulse Pricing and Availability

The Lava Pulse feature phone is available in India for Rs. 1,949 (Rs. 1,599 MOP). The feature phone is available in the single Rose Gold color option. The device will be sold in India on Amazon, Flipkart, and at over 100K+ retail stores in the country.
