Unlike its predecessor, the new Redmi K30 Ultra is powered by a MediaTek processor. Furthermore, the new smartphone of the K series offers noteworthy improvements in the display and camera department.

Pricing And Availability
The Redmi K30 Ultra will be available in Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Mint Green color variants.
- This smartphone will retail for a price of 1,999 yuan or roughly Rs. 21,470 for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
- The variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage costs 2,199 yuan or roughly Rs. 23,620.
- Mid-range variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage retails for a price of 2499 yuan or roughly Rs. 26,840.
- Lastly, there’s a higher-end variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage and it costs 2,699 yuan or roughly Rs. 28,990.
The smartphone will go on sale in China starting 14th August.
Redmi K30 Ultra: Specifications And Features
Despite having mid-range pricing, Redmi K30 Ultra in all aspects is a flagship device. The smartphone features a complete glass and aluminum construction. The front and back glasses of the smartphone are protected by Gorilla Glass 5. There’s a massive 6.67-inch Full HD+ E3 AMOLED display on this device with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9 ratio.
Some noteworthy features of this high-quality display are 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 500nits brightness, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut. Dimensity 1000+ 7nm processor accompanied by Mali-G77 MC9 GPU power the K30 Ultra. The flagship processor from Mediatek offers great performance and its power-efficient as well.
As stated earlier, the smartphone is available in 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB / 512GB (UFS 2.1) storage. K30 Ultra runs on Android 10 out of the box coupled with MIUI 12 custom skin.
The quad-camera setup on the K30 Ultra consists of a 64 MP primary Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.69 aperture, PDAF, and it has 0.8μm pixel size. Additionally, there’s a 13MP 119° ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture, a 5MP telephoto/macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone offers great versatility in the camera department. Furthermore, there’s a motorized 20 MP pop-up front-facing camera on the device.
