The Vivo sub-brand, iQoo has launched iQoo 5, iQoo 5 Pro. The phone has several flagship-level features but the eye-popping feature of the smartphone is certainly the 120W Fast Charging support. The phone comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. The phone hasn’t reached the Indian markets yet but is available in China.

iQoo 5, iQoo 5 Pro Specifications and Features
The iQoo 5 and iQoo 5 Pro features a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 398 PPI density. The display also has HDR10+ support and an aspect ratio of 19.8:9. The screen to body ratio of the vanilla version is 86.5 percent while for the Pro version it is 89.4 percent.
Coming to the Software, the device runs on iQoo UI 1.5 based Android 10 OS. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC coupled with up to 12GB RAM. In terms of storage, the phone has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage in place for faster file transfer.
In terms of optics, both the versions have the same front camera which is a 16-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.5. Coming to the back camera, the two phones use Samsung’s GN1 Lens. The primary camera on both the devices is a 50-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.85. The secondary camera on both the device is the 13-Megapixel Ultrawide lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of view of 120-degree. Both the phones support 8K videos, 4K videos at 30fps, and 1080p videos at 30fps.
The difference between the two comes in the third camera as the Pro version comes with an 8-Megapixel periscope telephoto lens having an aperture of f/3.4 and 5x Optical Zoom. While the other variant comes with a 13-Megapixel Portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.5 and 2x Optical Zoom. The primary camera on the Pro variant also supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and 60x Digital Zoom.
The connectivity options on the iQoo 5 series include USB Type-C, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, and GPS. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner along with dual stereo speakers.
Another massive difference between the two is that the Vanilla variant comes with a 4,500mAh battery while the Pro comes with a smaller 4,000mAh battery but to make up for that, the Pro supports the Headline 120W Fast Charging as against the 55W Fast Charging in the other variant.
iQoo 5 Pro And iQoo 5 Pricing and Availability
The iQoo 5 Pro and iQoo 5 has been released only in China yet. The iQoo 5 Pro for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model has been priced at CNY 4,998 (approx Rs.53,900) while the most expensive, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model will cost CNY 5,498 (approx Rs. 59,300). The color options for this device are Track Version and Legendary Edition color options.
Coming to iQoo 5, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant can be bought for CNY 3,998 (approx Rs. 43,100), CNY 4,298 (approx Rs. 46,300) for the 12GB RAM + 128GB storage variant while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage has been priced at CNY 4,598 (approx Rs. 49,600). The phone will come in Star Trace and Hao Ying color options.
The iQoo 5 series devices are already up for pre-orders in China and will be available to be purchased on its first sale from August 24.
