Oppo has just launched its fourth generation smartphone of the mid-range Reno series and it goes by the name Oppo Reno 4 Pro. The mid-range smartphone is launched in most international markets and it’s a direct competitor to the recently unveiled OnePlus Nord.

Oppo Reno 4 Pro: Specifications And Features
The front and back glasses of the Reno 4 Pro are protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and the massive smartphone is 7.7mm thick and it weighs around 161g. The next major highlight of this smartphone is its 6.5-inch FHD+ E3 super AMOLED 3D borderless sense display. To achieve a screen-to-body ratio of 92%, Oppo has curved the sides of the display to 55.9 degrees. The curved display on this smartphone has a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. Oppo claims that the device can reach a maximum brightness of 1100nits.
Oppo Reno 4 Pro is powered by the trustworthy Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with Adreno 618 GPU. In comparison to the previous generation Reno3 Pro, the new processor offers 46% higher single-core and 22% higher multi-core performance improvements. Additionally, the GPU is 40% faster. There’s no denying the fact, that 720G is a capable SoC, however for the price Oppo should have offered Snapdragon 765G.
Reno 4 Pro comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. Sadly, the storage of its device can’t be expanded with an SDCard. Similar to every other modern Oppo smartphone, the Reno 4 Pro comes with Android 10 out of the box coupled with ColorOS 7.2 custom skin.
The quad rear camera setup on this device consists of, a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture, the second camera is an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle one with f/2.2 aperture, the third one is a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and lastly, there’s a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The OPPO Reno 4 Pro will be available in Starry Night and Silky White color variants. This smartphone cost is Rs. 34,990 and it can be purchased from Amazon and Flipkart starting 5th August.
