OnePlus Nord With 90Hz Fluid AMOLED Display Launched in India: Price, Specifications and Features

On Tuesday, OnePlus launched its new smartphone, ‘OnePlus Nord’ in the world’s first AR launch event. The smartphone is part of the new series ‘Nord’ from the Chinese company which will focus on budget-oriented smartphones. It has been the most awaited smartphone of this year so far.

The key specifications of the smartphone include a Fluid AMOLED display, Quad Rear Cameras, up to 12GB RAM, Snapdragon 765G SoC and 4115mAh Battery.

The main highlights of both smartphones are 90Hz Fluid AMOLED display, 5G support and quad rear camera setup. Along with the smartphone, the company also announced its first-ever TWS headphone, OnePlus Buds.

  • OnePlus Nord price in India is Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant, Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage variant and Rs. 29,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage variant. It will come in Gray Onyx and Blue Marble colour options.
  • The smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon, OnePlus.in and OnePlus Stores starting August 4. But, the base variant (6GB/64GB) will be available in September (No exact date given).
  • Launch offers include:
    • Upto 6 Months No-cost EMI on all major banks.
    • Up to Rs. 2,000 off on American Express Cards.
    • Jio Benefits up to Rs. 6,000.

OnePlus Nord: Specifications and Features

Now coming to the specifications, OnePlus Nord sports a 6.44-inch Fluid AMOLED Display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 448 ppi and Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution. Based on Android 10 on the top of OxygenOS 10.5, the phone runs on 2.4GHz octa-core 7nm Snapdragon 765G processor with Adreno 620 GPU. It comes with 6GB/8GB/12GB LPDDR4x RAM options. In optics, there is a quad rear camera setup, the first camera includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.75 aperture, the second camera includes an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.25 aperture, the third camera includes a 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and the fourth camera includes a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

On the front, there is a dual-camera setup, the first camera includes a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor with f/2.45 aperture and the second camera includes an 8MP 105-degree ultra-wide-angle sensor with f/2.45 aperture. The phone has a dual-LED flash on the back.

When it comes to storage, the smartphone comes with 128GB/256GB UFS 2.1 internal storage. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB Type-C port. The sensors onboard the handset are an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and in-display fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus Nord battery capacity is 4115mAh with support of 30W Warp Charge 30T fast charging. The handset measures 158.3×73.3×8.2mm and weighs 184 grams.
