OnePlus took the TV market by a storm last year launching its Flagship Killer range of Smart OnePlusTV through its all-new premier 55-inch OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro. The Q1 Series was launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs. 69,900. And now Pete Lau, Founder, and CEO of OnePlus has announced that they are going to launch two new OnePlus TV’s which will be aimed for the masses being in the entry-level Smart TV segment.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau announced the new OnePlus TV series by a tweet earlier and that was followed by an official press conference from OnePlus where they revealed the curtain will be raised over this new TV series on July 2 through a live stream.

OnePlus had launched the Q1 series of Smart TV packed with a ton of features. OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro were launched with a 4K QLED Display. Both the variants supported Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, along with HDR10 high dynamic range support. Also, the remote that came with the TV had a very simplistic design and very easy to use. The TV range was launched as the Flagship Killer in the TV segment. The latest range of OnePlus TV is unlikely to have any major changes.
OnePlus is likely to rival Xiaomi Mi, Vu, and the very recently released Realme Smart TVs. The previous versions of OnePlus TV were launched in only a 55-inch option but this time with Indian Market in mind, they are expected to launch much smaller sized Smart TV as well. Moreover, this time the OnePlus will launch this series with different size options as well.
This new line of Smart TVs is likely to be launched at a starting price of Rs. 15,000. They are likely to be very similar to the previous versions.
There have been no official specifications released by OnePlus for the new TV series range. But we can expect OnePlus to give out some details and teases before the official launch on July 2 at 7 pm.
