Micromax to Launch 3 New Smartphone Models in India

Micromax to launch three new smartphones in India to mark its return in the market. The new phones that are in to be launched soon are all likely going to be in the budget range and likely to be priced at less than Rs. 10,000. The company hasn’t tweeted anything officially regarding their new upcoming smartphones, but there have been many replies to people’s tweets.

With the growing geopolitical tensions rising between India and China, people are looking to boycott Chinese products more and more. When it comes to smartphones in India, Chinese companies like Mi Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, and many more are amongst the market leaders. With people looking at the alternatives to these manufacturers, Micromax has once again come into conversations.

Many users have tweeted Micromax for a make a comeback, and the company has assured fans of a ‘something big to come soon’. Micromax had released just 1 device, the Micromax iOne Note last year priced at Rs. 8,199 which received hardly any attention. Even in 2018, it released just the Infinity N11 and Infinity N12.

People have complained in the past of Micromax not having the premium features and stylish look at competitive pricing which its competitors provided. However, Micromax has said that it is planning to launch a new budget phone with “premium features” and “modern look”.

The company is also tweeting using hashtags like #MadeByIndian and #MadeForIndian to further support and contribute to the growing wave of boycotting Chinese products.

Micromax is a Gurugram based smartphone manufacturing company owned by Rahul Sharma and Rajesh Agarwal founded in 2000. They became the largest domestic manufacturer by 2010. In 2014, it became the 10th largest smartphone vendor in the world. But ever since the entry of Chinese manufacturers everything has gone downhill for them.

Micromax would be looking for a revival in the Indian market and may also come up with exciting offers in its upcoming rumored launch of new devices.
