Some major changes include strengthening hinges, which were reported by many reviewers.

“Consumer confidence in Galaxy Fold has significantly deteriorated. If Samsung manages to sell 300,000 devices this year, that can be a decent performance given the delay,” – said Kim Young-woo, an analyst at SK Securities.

Samsung said that its target is to sell at least 1 million Fold handsets in the first year. Not only Samsung but this year Huawei Technologies Co Ltd has also announced their foldable smartphone. Four months after the company delayed the retail launch, finally Samsung says that all the problems that led to a lengthy delay of its $1,980 foldable hybrid smartphone are fixed and it will release on September 17.
