MediaTek Dimensity 920 And Dimensity 810 Mobile SoCs: Here’s All You Need To Know

MediaTek has recently announced two new processors in its Dimensity lineup with the name- MediaTek Dimensity 920 and MediaTek Dimensity 810. These are octa-core processors, which come with 64-bit architecture.

Both these processors have been designed for the mainstream mid-tier smartphones, however, this hasn’t been cleared yet that which phone will have it first. Let’s discuss what the processors have to offer.

MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC: Specifications

The MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC is a 6nm processor that comes with one each set of Arm Cortex-A78 and Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores. They have a clock frequency of 2.5GHz and 2.0GHz. The processor is paired with Arm Mali-G68 MC4 CPU. Compared to MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, it offers up to 9 percent faster gaming performance.

The processor supports LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAM, and it also supports UFS 2.1 and UFS 3.1 storage. MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC supports video encoding in H.265 and H.265/HVEC. Moreover, the processor can process a single 108MP camera or two 20MP sensors. It can also record videos in 4K.

Talking about the connectivity, the processor supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, 5G, NavIC, GPS, and various others. Moreover, the processor can run a display with a support resolution of up to 2560x1080pixels, having a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC: Specifications

MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC is a 6nm processor that comes with Arm Cortex-A55 and Arm Cortex-A76 CPU cores having a maximum clock frequency of 2.5GHz. The processor has eight cores and comes with Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

It supports LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The processor also supports 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, 5G, NavIC, GPS, and various others. MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset supports a single 64MP camera or two 16MP cameras. Moreover, it also supports displays having resolutions up to 2560x1080pixels with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
