Samsung Galaxy A82 5G Launch Hinted after a Promo Video Leak

Samsung, one of the premium smartphone manufacturers is expanding its smartphone market by launching a series of 5G smartphones. The latest addition to it is the new Samsung Galaxy A82 5G. There were many leaks and rumors regarding the launch of the smartphone but recently a piece of strong evidence was obtained in the form of a teaser video that doesn’t contain any information regarding the smartphone, but confirms that the phone may launch soon.

As per the reports, the new Galaxy A82 5G would likely be a global version of the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 that was launched in South Korea recently. The name Samsung Galaxy A82 5G is mentioned in the promo video as well but Samsung is yet to confirm the launch of the smartphone.

Expected Specifications

The smartphone may feature a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with QHD+ resolution and it supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC processor.

As per the leaks, the phone may have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. The smartphone is claimed to support 4K 30fps video recording using the rear camera. For selfies, the phone has a 10MP camera sensor.

The smartphone will sport 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage with an extensible microSD card slot and it comes with stereo speakers. The phone will run on the Android 11 operating system with One UI 3.1 customization. The predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy A82 5G, the Samsung Galaxy A72 5G was packed with a 5000mAh battery. However, the Galaxy A82 5G may feature a bigger battery of 6000mAh battery with 25W Type-C fast charging.

The connectivity of the phone includes Wi-Fi 6, 5G bandwidths, NFC, Samsung Pay, and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the teaser video has not revealed more information regarding other specifications of the smartphone.
