Oppo A74 5G Launched In India: Price, Specifications And Features

Oppo has launched its cheapest 5G smartphone in India to date with the launch of Oppo A74 5G. The phone is the first smartphone from the company and joins a small list of phones priced under Rs. 20,000 to come with 5G compatibility. The phone also has a triple camera setup on the back and houses a 5,000mAh battery. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and also has a display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The phone was initially launched in Cambodia and Thailand earlier this month with the same name but had a quad rear camera setup along with an AMOLED display.

Oppo A74 5G Specifications And Features

The Oppo A74 5G features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) LCD panel. The display comes with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, a pixel density of 405 PPI, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a screen-to-body ratio of 83.8%.

The phone runs on the Android 11 based ColorOS 11.1. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU. The phone also comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB onboard storage.

Coming to cameras, the phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 48-Megapixel sensor having an aperture of f/1.7. There is also a 2-Megapixel depth sensor and a 2-Megapixel Macro camera lens with both having an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the phone has an 8-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 for selfies and attending video calls.

The connectivity options in the smartphone include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint reader on the phone. Other sensors onboard are an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor.

The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W Fast Charging. In terms of dimensions, the phone has a thickness of 8.42mm and weighs 188 grams.

Oppo A74 5G Pricing And Availability In India

The Oppo A74 has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 17,990 for the only 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. Oppo has launched the smartphone in Fluid Black and Fantastic Purple colors. The phone can be purchased starting from April 26 through Oppo online store, Amazon, and select retail stores as well.
