Oppo A54 Launched in India: Price, Specifications And Features

Oppo has launched the Oppo A54 as the company’s latest budget offering in the country. The phone was initially launched in Indonesia last month and has now made its way to the Indian market. The phone has a triple camera setup on the back and is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and packs a 5,000mAh battery.

Oppo A54 Specifications And Features

The Oppo A54 features a 6.51-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD Display. The display comes with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a pixel density of 269 PPI, 550 nits of peak brightness, a touch sampling rate of 120 Hz, and a screen-to-body ratio of 89.2%.

Under the hood, the Oppo A54 is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765V) SoC coupled with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone runs on the Android 10 based ColorOS 7.2. It has up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of onboard storage that can be expanded using a dedicated microSD card slot.

In terms of the optics, the phone comes with a triple camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 13-Megapixel lens with an aperture of f/2.2. There is also a 2-Megapixel Macro and a 2-Megapixel Depth sensor lens both having an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the Oppo A54 has a 16-Megapixel camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.

The connectivity options on the Oppo A54 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for security. Other sensors onboard the smartphone include a geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and gravity sensor.

The phone houses a 5,000mAh Li-Po battery with support for 18W Fast Charging. The phone also comes with an IPX4 rating for Water Resistance. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 163.6×75.7×8.4mm and weighs 192 grams.

Oppo A54 Pricing And Availability In India

The Oppo A54 has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs. 13,490 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage model while the 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant will be sold for Rs. 14,490. The most expensive device of this range will cost Rs. 15,990 and have 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The phone will be available in Crystal Black, Moonlight Gold, and Starry Blue color options.

This range of smartphones from Oppo will be sold in India through Flipkart and select partner retail stores throughout the country. The first sale of the phone is on 20 April from 12 noon.
