Tecno Spark 7 Launched In India: Price, Specifications & Features

The latest offering of the Tecno Spark series, the Tecno Spark 7 has been launched in India. The budget smartphone from the company comes packed with several features. The device is the successor to the Tecno Spark 6 launched in December last year. The phone comes with a huge 6,000mAh battery and a dual-camera setup on the back.

Tecno Spark 7 Specifications And Features

The Tecno Spark 7 features a 6.52-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Dot Notch Display. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, a peak brightness of 480 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.34%. The smartphone runs on the Android 11 based HiOS 7.5.

The phone has two variants which include the 2 GB RAM variant powered by the quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 SoC and the 3 GB RAM variant having an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 SoC. The Tecno Spark 7 has 32 GB and 64 GB storage options which can be further expanded to up to 256 GB using a dedicated microSD card.

In terms of optics, the phone has a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 16-Megapixel lens having an aperture of f/1.8. It also has a quad-LED flash. The secondary camera is an AI Lens offering features such as Time Lapse, Video bokeh, and Slow-Mo. It also has an 8-Megapixel camera on the front having an aperture of f/2.0 paired with a Dual LED flash for taking selfies and attending video calls.

The connectivity options available on the Tecno Spark 7 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. Other sensors on the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensor.

The smartphone houses a 6,000mAh lithium-polymer battery which claimed by the company to deliver up to 40 days of standby time. In terms of dimensions, the phone measures 164.82×76.05×9.52mm.

Tecno Spark 7 Pricing And Availability In India

The Tecno Spark 7 has been launched having a price tag of Rs. 7,499 for the 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage option. The 3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage model will be sold for Rs. 8,499. There is also an introductory launch discount of Rs. 500 to bring down the selling price of the phone to Rs. 6,999. The smartphone comes in Magnet Black, Morpheus Blue, and Spruce Green color options. The phone goes on sale on Amazon from April 16, 12 noon.
