Redmi Note 10 Series Launched In India: Price, Specifications & Features

Redmi has launched the Redmi Note 10 series with the launch of Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in India. All the smartphones in this series feature a Super AMOLED display. While the Note 10 comes with a 60 Hz display, the Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max have a 120 Hz display. All three devices come with support for 33W fast charging and are upgradable to MIUI 12.5 through a future software update.

Redmi Note 10 Specifications And Features

The Redmi Note 10 features a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, and a 100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut. The screen comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect the display.

The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC paired with the Adreno 612 GPU. The phone has up to 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. There is also up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage further expandable up to 512 GB using a microSD card.

Coming to the cameras, the phone has a Quad camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 48-Megapixel Sony IMX582 lens having an aperture of f/1.8. The ultrawide camera sensor is an 8-Megapixel lens with an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of view of 118 degrees. Then there’s a 2-Megapixel Macro and 2-Megapixel depth sensor lens both having an aperture of f/2.4. On the front, the phone has a 13-Megapixel camera lens having an aperture of f/2.5.

The connectivity options onboard the device are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone houses a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W Fast Charging. The phone weighs just 178.8 grams and has 8.3mm of thickness.


Redmi Note 10 Pro Specifications And Features

The Redmi Note 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display which is different sized but the same display as the vanilla version of the series. But unlike the Note 10, the display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9, up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a100 percent DCI-P3 wide color gamut. It also supports HDR-10 and TÃœV Rheinland low blue light certification. The display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC coupled with the Adreno 618 GPU. The phone also has up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. In terms of storage, the phone has up to 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage that can be further expanded to up to 512 GB using a microSD card slot.

In terms of optics, the phone has 4 cameras on the rear. The primary sensor is a 64-Megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW3 lens having an aperture of f/1.9. The ultrawide camera in place is an 8-Megapixel lens having an aperture of f/2.2 and a field of view of 118-degrees. The macro camera on the phone is a 5-Megapixel sensor having an aperture of f/2.4. And lastly, there’s a 2-Megapixel depth sensor lens with an aperture of f/2.4.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16-Megapixel camera having an aperture of f/2.5. The front camera is placed on the top center of the display as a hole punch cut-out.

For connectivity, the phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Infrared (IR), USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company has also provided a 360-degree ambient light sensor. The device comes with stereo speakers having Hi-Res support.

The phone packs a 5,020mAh battery with 33W Fast Charging support. In terms of dimensions, the phone has a thickness of 8.1mm and weighs 192 grams.


Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Specifications And Features

The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the most premium offering from the company in the Note 10 series of smartphones. The phone has the exact same 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display panel as present in the Note 10 Pro.

The difference between the two comes in the primary camera of the devices as this phone has a 108-Megapixel primary Samsung HM2 camera sensor as against the 64-Megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GW3 camera of the Note 10 Pro.

This camera also comes with additional handy features such as Night Mode 2.0, VLOG Mode, Magic Clone Mode, Long Exposure Mode, Video Pro Mode, and Dual Video.

Apart from this difference, the two phones are completely identical.

  • The price for the Redmi Note 10 starts at Rs. 11,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage model with the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option to be sold for Rs. 13,999. The phone will be available in Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black color options.
  • The Redmi Note 10 Pro will be available starting at Rs. 15,999 for 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant. The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant will be sold having a price tag of Rs. 16,999. While the most expensive phone of this variant, the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model device will be sold for Rs. 18,999. The phone will be available in Dark Night, Glacial Blue, and Vintage Bronze color options.
  • The most expensive offering in this series, the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes at a starting price of Rs. 18,999 for the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage option. The 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model will be sold for Rs. 19,999 while the most expensive device of the series is the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model which will be carrying a price tag of Rs. 21,999. The phone also comes in the same Dark Night, Glacial Blue, and Vintage Bronze color options as the Note 10 Pro.

Coming to the availability of these devices, the Redmi Note 10 goes on sale in India through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and select offline retail partners from Tuesday, March 16. The Redmi Note 10 Pro will also be available through the same platforms from Wednesday, March 17. While the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max will be available in India from Thursday, March 18 on the above-mentioned platforms.
