Poco X3 Pro, Poco F3 Launched: Price, Specifications & Features

Poco has launched the Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3 through its global launch event last night. The Poco X3 Pro has been unveiled powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC. The phone also has a Quad camera setup on the back. Now coming to the Poco F3, the phone is a rebadged variant of the Redmi K40 launched in China last month. The device comes with 5G support, powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC, and a triple camera setup on the back.

Poco X3 Pro Specifications And Features

The Poco X3 Pro features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) dot display having a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, a peak brightness of up to 450 nits, an aspect ratio of 20:9, a pixel density of 395 PPI, and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.6%. The screen comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the 7mm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC coupled with Adreno 640 GPU. The company also claims the phone is the first smartphone to be powered by this chipset. The device also has up to 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Now coming to the cameras, the phone has a Quad camera setup on the back. The primary sensor is a 48-Megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor having an aperture of f/1.79. Then there’s an 8-Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera sensor with a 119-degree field of view and an aperture of f/2.2. There’s also a 2-Megapixel Depth sensor and Macro sensor to complete the 4 camera setup.

On the front, the phone has a 20-megapixel camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.2 to take selfies and video calls. The camera has several features such as dual video, video clones, ultra-wide with night mode, and night mode selfie.

For connectivity, the phone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, IR Blaster, and a headphone jack. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. There is also a LiquidCool Technology 1.0 Plus for better heat dissipation. Poco has also provided dual speakers in the smartphone.

The smartphone packs a 5,160mAh battery with support for 33W Fast Charging using it, the phone can be charged to 100 percent in just 59 minutes. Poco also claims the battery can last for up to 11 hours of gaming, 117 hours of music, 18 hours of video playback, and 6.5 hours of 1080p video recording.


Poco F3 Specifications And Features

The Poco F3 features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) E4 AMOLED HDR 10+ display. The display has 120Hz refresh rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, pixel density of 395 PPI, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, 1300 nits peak brightness, and a screen to body ratio of 89.5%. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The phone runs on the Android 11 based MIUI 12. It is powered by the 3.2GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. There is also up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

The phone has a triple camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 48-Megapixel sensor having an aperture of f/1.8. There is an 8-Megapixel Ultrawide camera lens having a field of view of 119-degrees and an aperture of f/2.2. Lastly, there is a 5-Megapixel Macro camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. On the front the phone has a 20-Megapixel camera sensor having an aperture of f/2.5 to take selfies and attend video calls.

The connectivity options provided include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Infrared (IR), and a USB Type-C port. There is a side mounted fingerprint reader provided with the phone. Other sensors included are accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and color spectrum.

Other features of the smartphone include Game Turbo 4.0, Hi-Res Audio, X-Axis linear motor, Dolby Atmos, and dual speakers. The phone is just 7.8mm thick and weighs just 196 grams.

The phone houses a 4,520mAh battery with support for 33W Fast Charging. The company claims it can last for up to 10 hours of gaming, 14 hours of video playback, 23 hours of phone call, and 149 hours of music. Moreover, the phone can also be charged fully in just 52 minutes.


Poco X3 Pro & Poco F3 Pricing And Availability

The Poco X3 Pro has been launched carrying a price tag of EUR 249 (approx Rs. 21,400) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage option. There is also the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage option available for EUR 299 (approx Rs.25,700).

There is also an early bird discount for these phones which brings down the effective price to EUR 199 (approx Rs. 17,100) for the base model while the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant is available for EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 21,400). The phone will be sold in Phantom Black, Frost Blue, and Metal Bronze color options. In India the phone is expected to be available from March 30 post Poco’s India event.

The Poco F3 is the more expensive of the two devices having a price tag of EUR 349 (approx Rs. 30,100) for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. The phone also has the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model which will be sold for EUR 399 (roughly Rs. 34,400).

This device also has limited time early bird discounted pricing, with the cheaper variant available for EUR 299 (approx Rs. 25,700) and the most expensive offering in this series having 8 GB RAM will be sold for EUR 349 (approx Rs. 30,100). The phone will be available in Night Black, Arctic White, and a Deep Ocean Blue color options.
