Vaio E15, SE14 Laptops Launched In India: Price, Specifications And More

Vaio has marked its comeback in the country with the launch of Vaio E15, SE14 Laptops in India. Both these laptops come with full-HD IPS displays. They have also been bundled with Microsoft Office 365 and are based on Windows 10 Home. It also has top-firing speakers, along with Dolby Audio and Smart Amplifier. A Hong Kong-based company, Nexstgo Company, is the one that is bringing back the Vaio brand in India. Vaio SE14 is already available while the E15 will be available in the country in the coming days.

Vaio E15 Specifications And Features

The Vaio E15 features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display with narrow bezels. The E series laptop was initially introduced by Sony in India. But this new notebook comes with AMD Ryzen 5 or AMD Ryzen 7 mobile processor-powered laptop. For handling graphics, the notebook makes use of Radeon Vega 8 or Radeon RX Vega 10 coupled with 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD.

For connectivity, the notebook makes use of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, two USB 3.0 ports, Micro-HDMI, and a USB Type-C port with Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging support. It also has a 1-Megapixel 720p camera in place. The company also claims the device to have the signature ergonomic hinge.

Vaio is also providing Office 365 with the notebook. The company also claims on one full charge the laptop can provide about 8 hours of battery life. There is also a backlit keyboard and dual speakers in the notebook. In terms of dimensions, the notebook measures 358.7×239.2×19.9 mm and weighs 1.77 kilograms.

Vaio SE14 Specifications And Features

The Vaio SE14 features a 14-inch full-HD IPS display with an anti-glare coating. The notebook also comes with an Ergo Lift hinge that raises the laptop when opened to provide an ideal typing angle. The laptop also has a 1.6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor coupled with Intel Integrated UHD 620 graphics. The laptop also has 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD.

The laptop also has a four-speaker design, with two top-firing speakers and two down-firing speakers. It also includes an island-style keyboard with optional backlit support along with spill resistance. The company has also provided a fingerprint sensor and includes Windows Hello support for biometric authentication.

The laptop also houses a Li-ion battery that is claimed by the company to last for up to 13 hours of usage on a single charge and supports quick charging which is claimed to provide 70 percent of battery recharge under one hour.

The connectivity options on the device include two USB Type-C, microSD card reader, and USB 3.0 ports as well as an HDMI port. There is also a 1-Megapixel HD Webcam included in the laptop. The notebook measures 324.4×229.6×19.55 mm and weighs 1.35 kilograms.

Vaio E15 And Vaio SE14 Pricing And Availability In India

The Vaio E15 has been priced in India starting at Rs. 66,990. There are Ink Black and Tin Silver color options available for the notebook.

While The Vaio SE14 will be sold in India having a price tag of Rs. 84,690 and will be available in Dark Gray and Red Cooper color options.

Both the laptops will be sold through Flipkart and are currently available for preorders.

Moreover, Nexstgo has also planned to expand the initial lineup in India by adding new models later this year. The models to be added include the Vaio FE14, Vaio SX14, and Vaio E14 as well as some new configurations of the existing Vaio SE14.
