iQoo has announced the launch of iQoo 7 BMW Edition on January 11 at 7:30 pm local time (5 pm IST) in China through a post on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The company has also announced the phone will be featuring the Snapdragon 888 SoC along with a triple camera system on the back. The phone will also come with BMW M Motorsport tri-color streaks on the back that run from top to bottom. The phone is said to be launched alongside the iQoo 7 smartphones as well which hasn’t been launched yet.

iQoo 7 BMW Edition Specifications And Features
There isn’t much information revealed by the company around the new upcoming phone but they have teased some of the features online. The major highlight of the phone however has to be the presence of Snapdragon 888 SoC. This chipset is the latest offering from Qualcomm and it is said to be present in several flagships from the likes of Samsung, OnePlus, and many more this year.
The phone also will be having an enhanced version of LPDDR5 RAM along with an enhanced version of UFS 3.1 storage. All this will be present in the phone along with the 5G connectivity options thanks to the Qualcomm chipset underneath the device.
In terms of camera setup, going by the renders and leaked images suggest a triple camera setup on the back. The 3 cameras are set to be in a triangular appearing system with the flash underneath them. The whole setup will be enclosed in a rectangular section on the back of the phone. More details regarding the camera of the device will be known on January 11 or in the days leading to the launch of the smartphone.
iQoo 7 BMW Edition is also said to be the official gaming machine for the KPL Games (King Pro League) eSports event in China. The KPL eSports event is held in the autumn and spring seasons every year in the country.
