Mi Watch Lite With 9 Days Battery, 120+ Watch Faces Launched

Mi has finally officially launched the Mi Watch Lite globally after several leaks in the past few days. The wearable has been launched as a rebranded model of the Redmi Watch that was launched in China last month. The watch has features such as 11 sports tracking, 9 Days Battery, built-in GPS, 120+ Watch Faces, and a lot more.

Mi Watch Lite Specifications And Features

The Mi Watch Lite features a 1.4-inch (320×320 pixels) square LCD display with 323ppi pixel density. The display has an adaptive brightness of a minimum of 350 nits. The watch is also said to offer over 120 watch face options and many more face options to be added regularly on the watch face store.

The watch has 11 dedicated sports modes that include outdoor cycling, indoor cycling, outdoor running, treadmill, walking, open water swimming, swimming in the pool, cricket, trekking, trial run, walking, indoor running, and free activities.

Further, it also has several more features such as heart rate monitoring, sleep monitoring, and guided breathing exercises as well apart from idle alert for those whose work required them to sit at one place for long durations. The watch also has support for controlling chat and call notifications, weather support, flashlight, and music controls.

Mi Watch Lite Heart Rate Monitoring

The sensors onboard the watch include GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, optical heart rate sensor, six-axis sensor, L-sensor, Barometer, and compass. To use the app with Android devices, users will have to download, install, and connect their watch to the Xiaomi Wear app while iOS users, will have to use the Xiaomi Wear Lite app.

With all these features, the watch is also 5ATM water resistance that allows it to work in up to 50 meters of water. The Mi Watch Lite measures 41x35x10.9mm and it weighs just 35 grams with the strap on.

The watch houses a 230mAh battery which is claimed to fully charge in about 2 hours. The battery is also said to provide up to 9 days of battery life in normal usage scenarios and up to 10 hours in continuous GPS sports mode.


Mi Watch Lite Expected Pricing And Availability

The Mi Watch Lite has been announced and is listed on the company’s global website, but the official pricing has not been released yet. Since the watch is a rebranded model of the Redmi Watch, launched in China last month, it is expected to be priced at CNY 299 (approx Rs. 3,300) in China going by the pricing of Redmi Watch. The global price of the watch is also expected to be approximately the same as well. The watch is available in Pink, Ivory, Olive, Navy Blue, and Black color strap options.
