Micromax has finally marked its return to the Indian smartphone market with the launch of two new smartphones- Micromax In Note 1 and In 1B. These smartphones are launched as part of the “In” series devices. This comes after days of teasing and high anticipation. Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma himself announced the two devices and also showcased the facilities of the company in the factory at Bhiwandi, Rajasthan. The phone is claimed to be part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Micromax In Note 1 Specifications And Features
Micromax In Note 1 features a 6.67-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) full-HD+ display. It also has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone has a hole-punch camera on the front. The device is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC along with ARM G52 MC2 MTK Hyper Engine 1.0 GPU. The phone will also have 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of onboard storage.
Coming to optics, the phone features a quad camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 48-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.79. The secondary is a 5-Megapixel ultrawide camera sensor with a field of view of 115 degrees and an aperture of f/2.2. Then there are also two 2-Megapixel Depth sensor and Macro camera sensors having an aperture of f/2.4.
On the front, the phone has a 16-Megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera is placed centrally in a hole punch cut out. The front camera can even be used to create gifs apart from the regular photos and videos.
The connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone also has a MicroSD card slot to expand the storage.
The phone houses a huge 5,000mAh non-removable Li-Po battery. It also supports 18W Fast Charging. The device also has a fingerprint reader on the back. Other sensors on the phone include a Magnetic compass, an accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and a light sensor.

Micromax In 1B Specifications And Features
Micromax In 1B features a 6.67-inch (1080 x 2400 pixels) full-HD+ display. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The phone has a waterdrop-styled display cut out for the front camera. The phone is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC while the GPU in place is the PowerVR GE8320. The phone has up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of onboard storage.
The phone comes with a dual-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 13-Megapixel sensor with up to 4x Digital Zoom. While the other camera is a 2-Megapixel sensor. On the front, the phone has an 8-Megapixel sensor for selfies.
For connectivity, the phone has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This phone also has a fingerprint reader on the back. The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery which also supports 10W Fast Charging.
Micromax In Note 1 And 1B Pricing And Availability In India
The Micromax In Note 1 will carry a price tag of Rs. 10,999 for the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant. While the 128 GB storage variant will be sold for Rs. 12,499. There are Green and White color options for the phone.
The Micromax In 1B will be sold for Rs. 6,999 for the 2 GB RAM + 32 GB storage option. The 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant will be available for Rs. 7,999. The phone will be launched in three distinct color options.
Both the phone will be sold in India through Micromax India’s official website, Flipkart, and select partner retail outlets. The In Note 1 will be available from 24th November while the 1B will be available to be purchase from November 26. The registrations for both the phones is said to start from later today.
