Sony PlayStation 5 Console and PS5 Accessories: Price In India Revealed

Sony has finally unveiled the pricing of the upcoming next-generation gaming consoles i.e. the PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition. Unlike, the X-Box Series X and the X-Box Series S the two variants of PlayStation have no hardware and performance differences. While opting for the digital edition you only lose the disc drive. Apart from the consoles, Sony has also revealed the pricing of PS5 accessories and some games.

PlayStation 5 And PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Price In India

As of now, not much information is available about the actual launch date of PlayStation 5 but we can expect the console to launch in India in the third week of November. As a matter of fact, the PlayStation India website accidentally listed the launch date of the consoles as November 19. Quickly this date was taken down.

So here’s the pricing of PS5 and it’s accessories in India:

1. PlayStation 5:  Rs. 49,990
2. PlayStation 5 Digital Edition: Rs. 39,990
3. DualSense Wireless Controller: Rs. 5,990
4. HD Camera: Rs. 5,190
5. PULSE 3D Wireless Headset: Rs. 8,590
6. Media Remote: Rs. 2,590
7. DualSense Charging Station:  Rs. 2,590

In its media release, Sony stated that,

We know that gamers in India are excited to get their hands on PS5. Availability in each country is subject to, amongst other things, local import regulations, and our local teams are working through the logistics. We will share an update on launch date for India as more information becomes available.

Sony has also unveiled the pricing of some launch titles and these are:

1. Demon’s Souls – Rs. 4,999
2. Destruction Allstars – Rs. 4,999
3. Marvel Spiderman Miles Morales Ultimate Edition – Rs. 4,999
4. Sackboy A Big Adventure – Rs. 3,999
5. Marvel Spiderman: Miles Morales – Rs. 3,999

The new hardware of PS5 will allow users to enjoy games in 4K resolution at 120fps and around 99 percent games of PS4 will be compatible with the next-generation console.
