Amid the COVID-19 global pandemic, the consumption rate of Internet has increased drastically. Workers are using internet services to work for home, while students are using the internet to access online classes and educational services. Furthermore, people are also using the internet to stream and download entertainment-focused content like movies and TV series.
As a result, having a high-speed broadband internet has become a necessity. Lately, ISPs have been introducing high-speed internet plans at competitive price points and Tata Sky is the latest one to join the league. The new Tata Sky 300 Mbps plan will be available in both unlimited data and limited data options. So here’s everything you need to know about this newly launched high-speed internet plan from Tata Sky.
Tata Sky 300 Mbps Broadband Plan
Tata Sky has clearly stated that the new 300 Mbps plan will be available in selected areas. Furthermore, it will be subject to technical feasibility. Consequently, before opting for the plan ensure that it is available in your city. As mentioned earlier, there will be two variants of this plan i.e. one with unlimited data and one with limited data.
The unlimited data plan will offer a speed of 300Mbps. However, once your data consumption reaches 3300 GB the speed will be reduced to 3 Mbps. This plan is priced at Rs 1,900 per month, Rs 5,400 quarterly, Rs 9,720 for 6 months, and Rs 18,360 annually. Do note that these prices are listed without additional GST. Since its an unlimited plan you won’t get the facility of data rollover.
On the other hand, the limited data plan does offer rollover. Tata Sky has set a data limit of 500GB with a speed of 300 Mbps for this limited data plan. You can get this plan for a price of Rs 1470 per month, Rs 4200 quarterly, 7560 for 6 months, and Rs 14280 annually.
