Leaked days before the launch, Moto G9 Plus mid-range smartphone has finally been made official by Motorola. Initially launched in Brazil, the smartphone sports a massive display, is powered by a tried and trusted SoC, and has a quad-camera setup. Pricing And Availability
Launched in Rose Gold, Indigo Blue color variants, the Moto G9 Plus will retail for a price of 2499 Brazilian real which roughly translates into Rs. 34,492. There’s only one 4GB RAM with a 128GB storage variant of this smartphone.
Motorola G9 Plus: Specifications And Features
The mid-range smartphone from Motorola features a complete plastic construction that can easily withstand rough usage. For protection against accidental splashes, the smartphone comes with splash-resistant P2i coating. There’s a massive 6.8-inch FHD+ MaxVision LCD display on this device with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and it even supports HDR10. Sadly, there’s no display protection offered by Motorola.
The front panel of this smartphone features a punch-hole selfie camera that has a 16MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. As for security, Motorola has relied on a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The tried and trusted Snapdragon 730G processor powers this mid-rage smartphone. This octa-core SoC consists of 2×2.2 GHz Kryo 470 Gold & 6×1.8 GHz Kryo 470 Silver CPUs. Furthermore, there’s an Adreno 618 GPU on this device. As mentioned earlier the smartphone comes with 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage which can be further using microSD.
The quad-camera setup on this smartphone consists of a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. Additionally, there’s an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 118-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, the other two sensors are a 2-megapixel Macro Camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
