Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition Launched In India: Price, Specifications And More

Mi has launched Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition in the country earlier today. This comes weeks after the launch of the first Mi laptop in India with the same name. The TV has been launched in two size variants: the 32- and 43-inch options.

The TV has a few very interesting features such as providing a “Bezel-less display”, Mi Quick Wake, and many more. The screen to body ratio on the TV is 95 percent. The Mi Quick Wake feature just like its name enables the TV to wake in just 0.5 seconds and hence killing the long waiting time that users often experienced before.

The TV runs on the Android TV OS. The TV is powered by Mi’s Vivid Picture Engine which is a proprietary technology from the company set to provide high accuracy screen calibration, a much deeper contrast in colors, and pinpoint precision in color reproduction. The TV’s also come with a new and a ‘unique’ kids mode.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 32-inch Specifications and Features

The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition’s 32-inch variant comes in an HD Ready display having a resolution of 1,368×768 pixels. The TV runs on the Android TV 9.0 operating system. The TV has a Quad-Core processor along with Mali-450 GPU coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in device storage.

The 32-inch TV comes with a built-in 20W stereo speakers along with DTS-HD surround sound. It also has PatchWall functionality. The TV has Chromecast built-in.

For connectivity, the TV has three HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, two USB ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and finally a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition 43-inch Specifications and Features

The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition’s 43-inch variant comes in a FullHD Ready display having a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. The TV runs on the Android TV 9.0 operating system. The TV has a 64-bit Quad-Core processor along with Mali-450 GPU coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of in device storage.

The speaker system in the two TV’s is the same. While in terms of connectivity, apart from three HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, two USB ports, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, the 43-inch variant also has an additional S/PDIF interface.

Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition Pricing And Availability In India

The Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition’s 32-inch variant has been priced very competitively as it will be available for Rs. 13,499 and can be purchased from Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores starting from September 11 at 12 noon.

While the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition’s 43-inch variant will be sold in the country priced at Rs. 22,999. It can be purchased starting from 6 pm on September 15 through Amazon India, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores

The TV will also be available at all Mi Stores, Mi Studio, and Xiaomi’s offline retail partners in the country very soon.
