Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition Launched in India

Mi has finally entered the laptop market in India with Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition. This range of laptops from Mi features 10th Generation Intel Core Processors and Nvidia GeForce graphic card. Xiaomi unveiled the notebook in a Livestream earlier today.

The Mi Notebook 14 has a 14-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and runs of the Windows 10 Home Edition. The notebook is powered by the 10th Generation Intel Core i5 processor along with up to 2GB of Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics card and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The notebook also has up to 512GB of SATA SSD.

The notebook has a sleek design and just 3mm of bezels on top and sides of the display panel. Due to this, there is no built-in webcam on the laptop. To solve this shortcoming, Xiaomi is providing an external Webcam, bundled with the notebook. The notebook weighs just 1.5 kilograms. The Display is coated with an anti-glare coating for an enhanced viewing experience.

The notebook has been claimed to provide up to 10 hours of usage on a single charge with also support for fast charging. For connectivity, the laptop has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.

Even the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition has a 14-inch full-HD(1,920×1,080 pixel) IPS display. The notebook also features a screen to body ratio of 91%. The device runs on the Windows 10 Home Edition. The Laptop has an Intel Core 10th generation i5 and i7 options. The laptop is powered by Nvidia GeForce MX350 GPU and 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The notebook has up to 512GB of NVMe M.2 SSD with a bandwidth of 3,000MB/s.

To provide a premium feel, the notebook has a metallic chassis and a framework of aluminum and magnesium alloy. The display has a 3mm of bezels on the top and the sides. Just like the Mi Notebook 14, there is no in-built webcam but an additional webcam bundled with the Horizon Edition device as well.

The notebook has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a wide, 178-degree viewing angle. Coming to connectivity, the laptop has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C port for data transfer and charging.

Scissor Keyboard

Xiaomi has also integrated the scissor mechanism for the chiclet-style keyboard having a travel length of 1.3mm. The Trackpad is also multitouch supporting and ultra-wide centrally located. The company also claims, the laptop can last 10 hours on a single charge to the 46Wh battery which also supports fast charging.

The Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition has stereo speakers and also includes DTS Audio processing. They also have preloaded the laptop with Mi Blaze Unlock and Mi Quickshare, which helps in ultrafast sharing of data from mobile to the laptop and between other Mi laptops as well.

Mi NoteBook 14 Pricing

The Mi Notebook 14 has been launched in 3 variants. The 256GB SSD base variant has been priced at Rs. 41,999 while the 512GB SSD variant will be sold at Rs. 44,999, but both of them will be running on the Intel UHD Graphics 620. The variant with Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU and 512GB SSD will be available for Rs. 47,999.

Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition Pricing

The Mi Notebook Horizon Edition is available in 2 variants. The i5 10th Generation Intel Core Processor with 512GB of SATA SSD is priced at Rs. 54,999. While there most expensive notebook of the launch, having i7 10th Generation Intel Core Processor with 512GB of PCI Express Gen 3 NVMe SSD will be available for Rs. 59,999.

All of these notebooks will be sold in India from June 17 on Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, and Mi Studios. They will also be available for purchase through offline retail outlets later.

All these prices are Introductory Launch Price of these notebooks which are valid only till July 16 after which these will likely be increased. Mi has also given launch offers for these notebooks which is a flat Rs. 2,000 instant discount/cashback with HDFC Bank Cards. There is also a no-cost EMI option for up to 9 months available.
