After having pretty much ruled the Indian markets in the Gaming Laptop department, Asus has finally entered the business-oriented market by launching the Asus ExpertBook in India. Asus has launched three laptops in this series. The laptops come with large battery life, Intel 10th Gen Processor, Wi-Fi 6 amongst many other features.
Asus ExpertBook B9 Specifications And Features
The Asus ExpertBook B9 features a 14-inch IPS Full HD (1920 x 1080) display having an aspect ratio of 16:9. The Display has 400 nits of brightness with an anti-glare screen and 94% screen to body ratio. The screen has an ultra-thin bezel measuring just 4 mm. The display also has a wide 100% sRGB color gamut.
The ultrabook runs on up to i7 11th Gen Intel Core Processor with a 2.8 GHz quad-core system along with Turbo Boost. The laptop comes with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed. For graphics, the laptop uses Intel’s Iris X graphics card. The laptop also makes use of up to 2 TB of Dual M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD coupled with up to 32 GB of LPDDR4x RAM.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop includes a micro HDMI, HDMI, Two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, USB 3.2 slot, Kensington Lock Slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop is made of magnesium-lithium alloy and structural reinforcement for enhanced and increased strength in the chassis. The laptop is also claimed to provide ‘Military-Grade toughness’.
The notebook also has a full size, backlit, and spill-resistant keyboard with a fingerprint reader and Windows Hello support. The touchpad is a hybrid touchpad as it can also be used as Number Pad. It also supports Intelligent Palm rejection.
The laptop has 4 omnidirectional far-field microphones, smart amplifier technology, and Harman Kardon-certified speakers to provide an immersive audio experience. The laptop also has three sound modes- Home, Office, and Cafe which will provide Noise Cancellation based on the selected mode.
The company has included a 66 Wh, 4-cell lithium-polymer battery with a 65W Fast Charging support. Asus claims one charge can last for almost 1 full day on normal usage and it can be charged to 60% capacity in just 39 minutes. The notebook is ultrathin and ultralight as its thickness is just 14.9mm and weighs just 880 grams.
Asus ExpertBook P2 Specifications And Features
The Asus ExpertBook P2 features a 14.0-inch LED-backlit HD (1920×1080) display. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9, an Anti-Glare panel, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and 5% NTSC with a wide 178° viewing angles. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Pro for business.
The notebook is powered by up to i7 10th Gen Intel Core Processors. For handling graphics, the laptop uses Intel’s Integrated UHD graphics. The notebook has up to 32 GB of DDR4 SDRAM RAM coupled with up to 2 TB of HDD and 1 GB of PCIe® Gen3 x2 SSD.
For connectivity, the laptop has 1 HDMI port, 1 Type-C USB 3.2 (Gen 2), 2 Type-A USB 3.2 (Gen 1), 1 Type-A USB2.0, 1 AC adapter plug, 1 micro SD card, up to Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5. The keyboard provided by Asus is an illuminated Chiclet keyboard.
The notebook also has a 2 W Stereo Speakers with Digital Array Microphone using ASUS SonicMaster Technology. The battery in place is a 3 Cell 48 Wh battery with 65 W Fast Charging support. The laptop measures 32.53 x 23.29 x 1.99 cm and weighs 1.6 kgs.
Asus ExpertBook P1 Specifications And Features
Asus ExpertBook P1 also features a 14.0-inch LED-backlit HD (1200×800) display. It has an aspect ratio of 16:9, a screen to body ratio of 82%, an Anti-Glare panel, a 60 Hz refresh rate, and 45% NTSC with a wide 178° viewing angles. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Pro for business.
The laptop is powered by up to i5 10th Gen Intel Core Processor and an integrated Intel UHD graphics card. The laptop also has up to 8 GB of SDRAM coupled with 1 TB of SATA HDD and up to 512 GB of PCIe® Gen3 x2 SSD.
Coming to connectivity, the laptop has Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth v5.0 to handle wireless networks while for wired connections it includes, 1 Type-C USB 3.0, 1 USB 3.0 port Type A, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 HDMI port, and a fingerprint reader.
The notebook houses a 2 Cell 32 Wh Li-ion battery with a 45 W Fast Charging support. The laptop measures 325 x 216 x 22.9 mm and weighs 1.5 Kgs.
