Realme C15 With 6,000mAh Battery And Quad-Camera Setup To Be Launched In India On August 18: All We Know So Far

Realme has announced the launch of their latest budget device, the Realme C15 will be launched in India on August 18. Realme has gone toe to toe with Mi-Xiaomi when it comes to budget and mid-range smartphones ever since it entered the Indian market. The latest offering from Realme will be featuring a huge 6,000mAh battery along with a quad-camera setup on the back. The phone has already been launched in Indonesia last month.

Realme C15 Specifications And Features

Realme C15 to be launched in India will likely be having the same specifications as that of the Indonesian version launched earlier. The phone features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1,600 pixels resolution, 420 nits of brightness, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen to body ratio of the device is 88.7 percent. The phone comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

The phone will be running on the Android 10 with Realme UI on top. It is powered by the Octa-Core 12nm MediaTek Helio G35 mobile platform with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB/4GB LPDDR4x RAM variants.

Coming to optics, the Realme C15 comes with a Quad rear camera setup. In the Indonesian version, the primary camera is a 13-Megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The other cameras on the device include an 8-Megapixel Ultra-Wide lens with a 119-degree field of view an f/2.25 aperture, a 2-Megapixel monochrome sensor with f/2.4 lens, and 2-Megapixel sensor retro sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8-Megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device comes with a Dual-SIM (nano+nano) support. It also has a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The phone will have a fingerprint sensor on the back. Other sensors on board include an accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, magnetometer.

For connectivity, the phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro USB port. The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery along with support for 18W fast charging. The handset measures 164.5×75.9×9.8mm and weigh 209 grams.

Realme C15 Pricing And Launch Details

The Realme C15 comes in two color options- Marine Blue and Seagull Silver color options. The phone also comes in three variants-

• The 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant has been priced at IDR 1,999,000 (approx Rs. 10,300).
• The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant has been priced at IDR 2,199,000 (approx Rs. 11,300).
• The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant has been priced at IDR 2,499,000 (approx Rs. 12,800).

The phone will be launched in India on August 18. The company hasn’t revealed the Indian pricing of the device.
