Realme 6i With Quad-Camera Setup and 90Hz Refresh Rate Launched In India

Realme has launched its latest budget phone, the Realme 6i in India. The phone is packed with several top-of-the-charts features despite being budget-friendly at the same time. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. The phone also has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 90Hz refresh rate display. The phone was launched earlier in Myanmar but the Indian version has different specifications. The smartphone is a rebranded version of the Realme 6s which was launched in Europe a few days back.

Realme 6i Features and Specifications

The Realme 6i features a .5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display. The display also packs a 90Hz refresh rate and a screen to body ratio of 90.5%. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x dual-channel RAM.

When it comes to the camera, the phone packs a quad-camera setup on the back. The primary camera is a 48-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The other cameras on the phone are- an 8-Megapixel Ultra Wide Angle lens with an aperture of f/2.3, a 2-Megapixel portrait lens with f/2.4 aperture, and finally a 2-Megapixel macro camera lens with an aperture of f/2.4. The front camera on the device is a 16-Megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.0.

The Realme 6i has a dual-SIM slot and an additional dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage up to 256GB. The phone has an onboard storage of UFS 2.1 64GB. When it comes to connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and a USB Type-C port. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Other sensors on the phone include a magnetic induction sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyro-meter, and an accelerometer.

The phone runs on a 4,300mAh battery with support for 30W Fast Charging. However, in the box, the phone comes with only a 20W Fast Charger. The phone measures 162.1×74.8×8.9mm and weigh 191 grams.

Realme 6i Pricing and Availability

The Realme 6i has been launched in India in 2 color options, the Eclipse Black and Lunar White. The phone also has two RAM Variants with the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB variant priced at Rs. 12,999 while the 6 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant will be sold for Rs. 14,999. The phone will exclusively be sold in India on Flipkart apart from the Realme India website. The phone will go on sale from July 31 at 12pm.
